Wines as nature intended

Bodegas Nava-Rioja

At the beginning of the last century, the Pardo Ordóñez family founded a small winery in the village of Andosilla in Navarra, Spain.
Since 1999, Bodegas Navarioja is run by the third generation descended from those pioneers – José Maria Pardo Ordóñez and family – and possesses 100 hectares of their own vineyards. Gorka Troya Oterino their head winemaker produces 4000hl of wine annually from this estate situated south of Pamplona. Only organic methods are used in the cultivation of their estate.
The title Otis Tarda which is given to their white and rosé wines derives from the great bustard, a wild pheasant like bird which is common place among the vineyards of Andosilla.
